So, do you want to know what you should expect when deep-sea fishing in sunny South Florida during the summer months? Well, the days are hotter - but so is the bite!
Summer Season Fishing in South Florida
Kingfish, Wahoo, Mahi, Tuna, Mutton, Yellowtail Snapper, and many more species are abundant. And don't forget that summer is also Grouper season. Because the temperature can routinely reach the 90s by mid-morning, it pays to get out early and grab an early morning bite on the troll - especially on those lake flat days. If you're looking for dinner offshore in the blue water, you can expect some beautiful Mahi action with some excellent Tuna schools to go with it - provided your Captain knows where to look. If you're more interested in sport - inside in the green water, you'll find your Kingfish and Wahoo on planers. Finally, if you're comfortable staying still, bottom fishing can be great with live ballyhoo producing some heavy mutton bite.

Tight lines everyone and don't forget to book your next day on the water with us Gottemondood !!!
